PETER KHARMA was born in Bologna -Italy on 1976
Since 1992 he started his activity as DJ and producer at the same time.
The record career starts with his first production called DJKHARMA – PASSION ETERNA produced by DISCOMAGIC UK which is included into the U.K. compilation “ The best of italian house ”.In this ten year period he made a lot of projects working for the MBG RECORDS and in 1994 he produced together with his friend GIO MBCANEPA
“ DREAM'S WAVE ” song which has been successful especially in clubs and nights.
For the next two years he worked together with his brother EMILIANO RAMIREZ and the big pioneer of the house music MARCO TRANI and they opened up a production team “ SURE SHOT DIVISION ”: then they produced a single called
"CHARRO THE STORY "for the famous wear shop CHARRO, printed in 80 thousands copies in the world. Since 1997 he started to work for an international wild (S.A.I.F.A.M.) following principally a sound
techno – trance.The works PACIFIC LINK ,ATLANTIC WAVE , DJ STARDUST ,
GO-KKO! , THE HOSE (featuring DJ GIUS today well known as TECHNOBOY) and some remixes like GLOBAL CEE -"CRAZY " became part of the playlist and chart of the most important djs in the world, and they are licensed to some most important european label of music (BONZAI, SUCK ME PLASMA-NUSIC RESEARCH ,CNR, ZYX)and included in prestigious compilation like ENERGY 99,LOVE PARADE,STREET PARADE,TECHNODOME, STREET FESTIVAL,TETSUO COMPILATION ,SUCK ME PLASMA ALL STARS...

At the end of 2000 he finally opened up his own record company, the NP MUSIC born in cooperation with NANDO T – VANNELLI (once he was A&R and he was a producer of different works like ROBERT MILES, NYLON MOON, SMOKE).In this period he had a lot of cooperations and he started to be a remixer ( as DJ PHUNK) of different artists
like FELIX DA HOUSECAT ;
his remix of SILVER SCREEN on CLUB CULTURE,CITY ROCKERS,LARGE-IT,
was also included in FELIX's offical album-compilation EXCURSION ) ,
SIMPLE MINDS , INXS .

Actually he manages the NP MUSIC INTERNATIONAL and he is doing a lot of works from ELECTRO-HOUSE to TRANCE because PETER is a producer that loves different kind of music. Some of these works are : Peter Kharma a.k.a. DJ PHUNK with DIRTY HOUSE MUSIC ; this label is born in cooperation with MAURICE "SPACE" NOAH ,and MASTER ENJOY art director of RED ZONE CLUB( one of the most important Club in Italy where PETER K a.k.a. dj Phunk plays like guest ) PLANET K with STELLAR TRAX , his pseudonym into the world TECHNO/TRANCE,
( the tracks ALL SYSTEMS GO and HARD TO FIND , are included in
GATECRASHER and ID&T compilations) .

He is a dj gifted with a good technic,he really cares adout his performance and he has got fantasy and good musical taste. He often likes interacting with his dj set with a support of sampler , synht , and electronic drums just to change a dj set in a live set. He suggests different kind of music and he changes even name according to the different musical situation because he doesn't like the label of dj and producer that makes just one kind of music.

When he chooses the name PLANET K he suggests a sound TRANCE, while if he chooses Peter Kharma a.k.a. DJ PHUNK , the sound changes becoming
ELECTRO- HOUSE
