  He is Italian, born in Bologna but with Neapolitan blood. His latest productions signed as Dj Kharma "ResuRection", Pacific Wave “1998”, Pacific Wave “Pop Corn”, Peter K & Andrew M "From disco to disco", Get on up", “La Rubia”, Giorgio Prezioso vs. Dj Kharma & ; Andrew M “Dunne” rose the Progressive and Electro charts of the most important sites of digital music like Beatport.com, Trackitdown.net and Dj Tunes. His activity as remixer enhances more and more after his co-operations with artists like Chris Willis, Toni Braxton, Guru Josh, Crystal Waters, Felix da Housecat, Inxs and many others. His apparitions on world class labels such as Atlantic, Ministry of Sound, Strictly Rhythm are always more frequent. With the project Italian Disco Mafia he won the approval of the public in many countries of the world, especially in Russia where he attained a promotional tour and the release of a full album (still in progress) in addiction to a radio show We're talking of Peter Kharma ( Pierangelo Scognamiglio ) a.k.a. Dj Kharma - Dj Phunk - Peter K -...his alias list is very wide, in perfect “international producer” style. From 1991 , when he started at the same time his activity as DJ and producer till now , Peter’s releases became part of the playlists and of the charts of many world wide important radio stations and DJ's such as Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren ,Sander Van Doorn, Chuckie, Erick Morillo, David Guetta, John Digweed ,Pete Tong and many others and his “tracks” were licensed by the most important record labels and compilations around the world. Particular attention should be paid for the single "Dj Kharma & Niki-x Slip and Slide" ( 1995 ) which became a real cult record in the north of Great Britain (a very rare copy of the first release on Back up records has been sold on e-bay for even 820 pounds!) . In 2005 he realized a remix followed by a tour in U.K. which achieved a huge success. Peter Kharma (this is his official stage name) is a producer who likes many different types of music and this is one of the reasons why he is very appreciated by many DJ's and producers all over the world, as well as for the fact that his productions are in most cases entirely created by him, from the arrangement to the sound's search, from the mixing to the final mastering. In his performances as Dj Peter he looks particularly after the technical aspect (that he believes fundamental to achieve a great success on the dance floor) and he is gifted of a lot of imagination and of a good musical taste. He doesn't like very much the DJ's label who promotes only a kind of music, so he ranges between different styles, always following a common denominator to obtain a very deep impact on the audience. Moreover in some cases he transforms the DJ set in a real live-set being besides a DJ a musician as well.
